St John’s Lodge #5

At St Johns Lodge No. 5 Ancient Free & Accepted Masons we pride ourselves in the daily contribution to individual and community well being. We believe that by sharing common values we can increase the opportunity of each individual in the community.

Our  members are a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of skills and expertise. Our goal is to make a difference in your life and those around you. Don’t just stand on the sideline.

Our goals are to advance the moral and social interests of our membership; to foster good citizenship, honest industry and upright living; to cultivate the exercise of charity in its best and broadest sense; to assist the widows and orphans of its deceased members; to stimulate friendship, harmony and brotherly love, and generally to promote, in its own way, the happiness of mankind.

Ours is a Fraternity of good men, linked together by honorable and indissoluble bonds, to accomplish these noble purposes, eschewing all interests in factional politics and sectarian religion and free from the dictation of both.

Get engaged in your community!  Contact us today if you live in or near the West Columbia, Texas area and wish to speak to one of our members!

Meetings and Information

St. Johns Lodge Stated meetings are held on the First & Third Tuesday of each month. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM and the meeting starts promptly at 7:00 PM. Called meetings are typically held on non-stated Tuesday evenings, however please check the Lodge Calendar for a detailed schedule and the latest on lodge events.

Dinner is served by our Stewards and is prepared by members that have signed up to cook before every meeting each week. Dinner for non-stated meetings will be listed in the communications, and all members are invited to join us for good food, fellowship and brotherly love.

For those interested in Freemasonry, these pre-meeting dinners are a great opportunity to get to know us and to have all of your questions answered. When it comes to our history, traditions, and ceremonies, we can talk about a lot more than you probably imagine. You are welcome to stop by and share a mean and learn about masonry.

If you have any questions about Freemasonry or St. Johns Lodge, or for additional information about becoming a Freemason, please feel free to contact us.
